Our mission
Make the invisible world of radio waves visible.
Amateur Radio gives us a way to work with STEM ideas in the real world. Antennas, radio waves, electronics, computers, satellites, weather, mathematics and digital communications all meet in one place.
The goal is to explain ideas in plain language first, introduce technical terms when they are needed, and let you go deeper when you are ready.
How a SPARKA lesson works
- Learn it: Start with a plain-language explanation.
- See it: Use diagrams, examples and real equipment.
- STEMulate it: Change something and watch the result.
- Apply it: Connect the idea to Amateur Radio.
- Try it: Measure, build or experiment when practical.
